Let’s Save on Thrift Month

Celebrating world savings day on 31st October,these programs are executed through out the month of October to promote savings of all the sanasa socities in the village. The month of October is a special month for us as Sri Lankans. In fact, October starts with world children’s day and elder’s day on October 1st while it ends with savings day on 31st October and therefore our primary objective is to improve savings in the village considering October month as a special month. Among various special programs carried out in the thrift month, following programs have become.

• The program to introduce new savings systems
• The program which appreciate greater savings
• The program which promote savings by going from village to village
• The program which activate inactive societies
• The program which offer gifts for special saving accounts
• The program which opens children’s savings accounts
